ARTIST STATEMENT
The creative journey is a natural extension expression of my being while being influenced as a lucid dreamer, health practitioner, and carrier of herstories. Some of my earliest memories are creating with mud, twigs, wood, sawdust, etc. At an early age and having the need to create, I often used found objects within reach. It is for this reason that I continue to enjoy recycling and restoration whenever possible. Children’s art has been a strong influence on the work since years ago I made a decision to be more of a direct channel to the vision as often seen with young people.

Having raised my two daughters during their school years here, The Gratitude Tour is a timely opportunity to exhibit this collection of work in Taos, New Mexico. I am sincerely grateful for the earth, the Mountain and all inhabitants; for everyone and everything that made it possible for us to have thrived here. PKA Stella Delgado at that time, it is my intention to welcome friends, acquaintances and new relatives to share and give thanks for that time as well as out time here now.

Please feel welcome to visit and say hello during the reception and or stop by to see this body of work. It is the goal of the artist to present the opportunity for the viewer to make their own unique energetic exchange with the work.
