Does a beetle fall in love? How can he have beetle love? Buzzing and humming, love and loss, beetles and butterflies are fluttering into The Wildflower Playhouse. “The Butterfy’s Magic Spell” brings the insect world to the stage July 19 – 20, Friday & Saturday at 7:00pm followed by a matinee July 21, Sunday, at 1:00pm.
Taos Children’s Theatre (TCT) performs this adaptation of Federico Garcia Lorca’s insect play, directed by Karen Thibodeau, with a cast of thirty one beetles, butterflies, scorpions, caterpillars, mayflies, even two intimidating iguanas. Tickets: Adults $15, Seniors/Teens $12, Children 5 and under $5.
