Glenn Kostur has virtually “done it all”. The multi-talented, multi- instrumentalist and composer/arranger has, for more than twenty years, been a fixture on the New Mexico music scene, lending his saxophone, keyboard and vocal skills to a wide variety of musical projects and groups. Early on, Glenn spent three years as saxophonist, composer/arranger, and musical director for jazz trumpeter Maynard Ferguson, appearing on three recordings: “Big Bop Nouveau”, “Footpath Cafe”, and “Live FromLondon”. He has also performed with many jazz luminaries including Dizzy Gillespie, Randy Brecker, Bobby Shew, Slide Hampton and many others. The list goes on to include many star vocalists as varied as Tony Bennett, Linda Ronstadt and the Temptations.

On May 28th, Glenn will be playing both tenor and baritone saxes. Rounding out the quartet are pianist Bob Fox, one of new Mexico's most admired jazz players; bassist Cyrus Campbell, an alum of Berklee School of Music and currently catching fire on the NM jazz scene; and drummer John Trentacosta. 'Trenty' has long been in the top tier of New Mexico jazz artists, as well as the long-time host of KSFR's Monday Morning Jazz.

The concert is FREE for members of Taos Jazz Bebop Society.
